Yesterday as I was crossing the road a car ran the light and nearly hit me. I knew it would be a Tesla and of course it was. A woman standing on the kerb yelled out “heartless, arrogant, entitled Tesla turds strike again”. No one would have said that here before. People hate him

In those first few days of recovery, as she lay in hospital, I remembered what it was like when she was small – the way time seems to stop when your child needs you.

Guilt gets a bad rap. I’m guilty, but my new year’s resolution is to be OK with it
We have this magical thinking that we can be better come the new year, then we too often fail. Don’t dismiss guilt as the motivator you might need to keep your resolutions.

Our 30 year old daughter had gender reassignment surgery last week & I wish more people would talk about how much delight & happiness it brings. Watching her growing confidence & pride. Why do others fight so hard to deny life affirming treatment like this? We are so grateful for her life ❤️❤️❤️
