This kind of thing is the reason the local firing range banned cops. No active duty cops of any kind are permitted on the property. That & the cops here in Oilberta earned a rep for being extremely irresponsible with firearms & that wasn't welcome.

I'm of the mind that if you follow a religion, whatever it is, that's your thing. You have that right & should enjoy your life that way. I don't follow one & those who try to force it, are a far larger problem than those who simply respect their neighbour enough to not force things on em. :)

While the student has the right to her beliefs, she does NOT have a right to a passing grade, nor to ignore the assignment in it's entirely. Doing so EARNS a fail.

I was a kid in the 70's & 80's, but didn't get into D&D until a year & a bit ago. I say the more the merrier! Old guys don't like it? Too bad, sucks to be them.
D&D is awesome. The right wing bigot type can get lost. They're not invited to the best games anyway. :)

I had similar here in Canada back in 1990. It didn't impress me then & never has. When religion is forced, it's NOT spirituality. It's enforcement. And I'm not OK with that BS either.

You're not as clever as you assume. The assignment called for empirical research being quoted. NOT a fairy tale from the stone age. The bible is NOT "empirical research" by any stretch of the imagination. Even then she still didn't reference which parts of that fairy tale book were referenced.
