I just have to remind that this is just my interpretation and reminder that I have the Making of - To Ashes and Blood in mind too. I'm posting this just to have it here apart from a conversation with my friends and my Tumblr.

Thanks for reading!

Some lyrics wouldn’t make sense coming from the Jayce who is just now discovering the anomaly. Rather, they belong to the Jayce who has already lived through it, who knows.

we came to the realization that this song isn’t entirely about forgiveness. Instead, it feels more like foreshadowing or a warning of what’s to come. It’s almost as if survivor Jayce is questioning Viktor, speaking not to him directly, but to his younger self.+
February 24, 2025 at 5:22 PM
and the scenes where Jayce is shown with Ekko and Heimerdinger as they first encounter the anomaly. At that point, Jayce still doesn’t know the truth and he has no idea what Viktor is doing in Zaun.

After discussing this with a friend +

Conclusion 1:

Jayce telling Viktor he’s making a mistake? Yeah, that definitely sounds like him.

While The Line made a direct reference to Viktor’s transformation, I didn’t initially consider any interpretation with To Ashes and Blood. The song coincides with Vi and Jinx’s battle,+

This ties into the next verse. Depending on which interpretation you favor, the "weapons" could refer Viktor’s commune, which only allows entry without armament. Alternatively, if Viktor chooses to abandon his ambitions, his "sins" may be forgiven.

Now lets go to conclusions.

2. Jayce believes that with power at this level (the power of a god) all sins or sinners may be redeemed. Either Viktor is turning people into mere puppets, or Jayce is hoping Viktor will realize his mistake before all of Piltover and Runeterra suffer for it.
February 24, 2025 at 5:22 PM
That said, two possible interpretations arise with the fifth verse:
1. Jayce forgives Viktor for everything he has done and the path his ambition is leading them down, even knowing the full consequences.
February 24, 2025 at 5:22 PM
This moment, this moment, could be a direct reference to The Line, where Jayce openly asks Viktor how he feels about achieving his goal of “fixing” what was never broken. What are the true limits of his new abilities? What has his power really cost him?
February 24, 2025 at 5:22 PM
By this point, Jayce may have a clearer understanding of Viktor’s newfound power. However, what stands out to him is how Viktor has "wasted" his life (whether it's the new existence Viktor was forced into or the old one he sought to fix). In doing so, he has changed everything he once knew.
February 24, 2025 at 5:22 PM
Here again, it may be a warning from Jayce of what Viktor would accomplish.
February 24, 2025 at 5:22 PM
This could be from Jayce’s perspective, questioning Viktor’s motives. (Additional: a Jayce who has already been in contact with the arcane, maybe survivor Jayce)

In the end, the song may reaffirm the promise Jayce once made to Viktor.

Here are some examples of how Viktor manipulates time/weather:
February 24, 2025 at 5:22 PM
Driven by his desire to improve himself, Viktor began altering his own nature, later extending these modifications to his commune. And yes, in doing so, his power harms him.

The next part focuses on Viktor, now fully fused with the Hexcore, attempting to reshape the world in his own vision. +
February 24, 2025 at 5:22 PM
In this section, we see that Viktor appears capable of manipulating time, whether it’s weather patterns or traveling between realities and specific moments. This could be due to the acceleration rune or simply because his deep understanding of the Arcane allows it.
February 24, 2025 at 5:22 PM
The two verses could reference how the Hexcore’s consciousness is manipulating Viktor’s mind. It is altering him and, in a way, dictating his actions, changes that could ultimately destroy him.
February 24, 2025 at 5:22 PM
We start with what appears to be Jayce warning Viktor about the Arcane, specifically, the Hexcore. Viktor has put his life at risk, from experimenting on his own body to recklessly handling the Hexcore, even when he hesitated whether to deactivate Jinx's bomb.

Disclaimer 2: This analysis stems from the intent to connect both songs, The Line and To Ashes and Blood, and is influenced by that perspective. There are signs to The Line? maybe and in some parts, the song can even be interpreted from Jayce’s POV.
