I hadn't heard about it until after I was most of the way through, and I haven't touched it since. Part of me wants to finish it because I was already so far, but I just kinda can't bring myself to do it.

Such a shame. Panels were what really got me into cons, and kept drawing me to them for a long time. Seeing them go away sucks for a whole lot of reasons.

The panels one really gets me. A couple cons I've been going to for a long time have been seemingly phasing out normal panels in favor of going very heavy on fan panels/meetups. I don't mind fan panels, but it makes me sad because I like non-fan panels a lot, too, and I'm seeing them so much less.
