We have a massive population of brainwashed people in this country. The Republican Party has been spoon fed lies about the Democratic Party for decades. There are a number of TV stations that lie (both outright and by omission) & kowtow to Trump and their viewers never get actual journalism.

The fact that they're blowing up boats, that they are told are committing drug crimes, is illegal. The military is not a police force & criminals deserve due process. We are not at war with anyone in this hemisphere.

Wouldn't the orders to blow up boats be considered illegal and can't they refuse them? After all, they're not being threatened by those boats.

Military members are legally required to disobey orders that are "manifestly unlawful". Following an order that is clearly illegal can result in criminal liability under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).
