I saw my first curlew of the season in the Oxfordshire floodplain meadows on Monday. Then I saw it being chased off the field by a dog off the lead. This is the annual plea to dog owners to please keep their dogs on the lead in areas where there are ground-nesting birds. Thank you. #dogs #ukbirding

#Tewkesburygarden cold morning! 3 Robins, of which 2 displaying to each other, 3rd chasing everything else around! Female/1st winter male Grey Wagtail, female Blackcap, House Sparrows, Dunnock, Bluetit.
