I saw my first curlew of the season in the Oxfordshire floodplain meadows on Monday. Then I saw it being chased off the field by a dog off the lead. This is the annual plea to dog owners to please keep their dogs on the lead in areas where there are ground-nesting birds. Thank you. #dogs #ukbirding
