My "representative" in Congress, Chuck Edwards, (R-NC), was among them. He voted to cover op the crimes of a pedophile, and that's just one of his disgraceful votes. Remember this when Election Day comes around. I'll keep reminding you.

Just got back from Hood Trouble Lives on rally and March here in Asheville. We had about a thousand people and our speakers were on fire!

It's Caturday, which means we have time to think about the crimes of the GOP. My "rep" in Congress, Chuck Edwards, is one of the people with blood on his hands, thanks to his vote for the Big Bad Bill. Does your Congress person represent you or is there blood on their hands, too? Don't forget!

Last night we held vigils in front of all eight US Senators' NC field offices. I was in Hendersonville, where Sen. Thom Tillis has an unstaffed office. You know, in case you need anything. We're asking them to vote NO on the big bill. Tillis is up for re-election. Just sayin'.

On Saturday, we stood up to tyranny. We were in community, outraged but not violent. We stood together in community. That is resistance at its finest. #RESIST

Nine of us went into the US Capitol Rotunda on Monday and prayed for mercy for the millions who will lose government benefits and the thousands who will die as a result. We were arrested, but we are not intimidated. We'll be back for another Moral Monday on July 7. Join us.

My friend Lelania Wince and I delivered info on Medicaid to Sen. Ted Budd’s Asheville office. No one was there, so we slipped the info under the door. I only hope he’ll do the right thing and help protect this vital program.

Update on the Chuck Edwards (R, NC 11) town hall. Police estimated the total attendance at between 2000 and 3000. People want to be heard, and they (we) are PISSED.

Thank you for showing up, Congressman Edwards. We may not agree on much, but I appreciate your willingness to listen, and your willingness to treat me with respect.

At the Rep. Chuck Edwards town hall. I give him credit for showing up. Most Republicans aren’t doing that. I think there are 1000 people here.

Indivisible Asheville held a 2025 kickoff meeting and 250 people showed up. Amazing!
