and all it means at the end of the day is that their gender cannot be forced into a binary
January 7, 2026 at 3:51 AM
genderflux, etc. literally anything else!!!!! is non binary!!!!

this is also why the labels ”non binary woman” & “non binary man/boy” exist. someone may primarily be or present one gender or the other while still being non binary. this is additionally why some trans men & women say this as well
January 7, 2026 at 3:51 AM
into a binary!!!! it exists outside the two binaries of man and woman. anything or anyone outside of either of those two binaries falls under nonbinary. this includes literally anything that isn’t a fully aligned (or sometimes cis) gender.

bigender, genderfluid, xenogenders, agender, demiboy,
January 7, 2026 at 3:49 AM
they have not “only existed” because of … reason. they’ve just existed as themselves and have for many, many years.

for some reason, people like to equate non binary to they/them and being like some neutral, third gender. the whole point of it being NON binary is that. it literally can’t be put
January 7, 2026 at 3:48 AM
existed when they had to assume the guise of a man to safely date another woman. where the hell did this come from? you’d be extremely wrong.. this was actually crucial to butch history, and many butches experience their identities differently. some WERE trans men. who cares?
January 7, 2026 at 3:45 AM
they experience it. men do not OWN masculinity. many non binary men are lesbians. a lot of you have much to learn about gender binaries and what certain labels actually entail and mean, as well as lesbian history

another argument people try to counter is that trans men lesbians have only ever
January 7, 2026 at 3:43 AM
lots of people tend to bring up the argument the label is a “mockery” to lesbianism, or that this is the “one sexuality men are supposed to be excluded from” …what are you talking about, genuinely?

it’s not a new concept for lesbians to be associated with their own masculinity, in whichever way
January 7, 2026 at 3:42 AM
++ bit of update on the thread

occasionally, fully aligned men may use the lesboy label (binary trans men for example) — there’s nothing wrong w this! everyone who uses the label is different & has a different gender experience and identity for each individual person you ask
January 7, 2026 at 3:40 AM
nobody gaf truly and if a “cis” man is genuinely calling himself a lesbian maybe there’s more to that than meets the eye… you people say non binary people can be lesbians and then lose ur mind at lesboys & trans men as if they literally aren’t nonbinary 😭😭😭 ctfu

HIIII
January 7, 2026 at 3:36 AM
so often when people call themselves a bi lesbian they use the term bi as a means to exaggerate that they are attracted to women AND those outside the gender binary/anyone else that doesn’t identify as a man. plus people tend to forget a lot of others have varying sexual + romantic attractions
January 25, 2025 at 4:29 PM
like. most people assume bisexual is liking men AND women, period, but literally BY DEFINITION it’s liking more than one gender .. 😭 that is not just subject to men and women
January 25, 2025 at 4:27 PM
describe and align w one’s identity! it is not harmful to anyone.. so exclus keeeeppp cryin. we will always be here ily lesboys + turigirls
January 25, 2025 at 4:21 PM
people identify, and actually take the time to understand why they do. everyone’s experience w their gender identity is different and you don’t have to understand it, but it’s a very much real and awesome thing once you do :-)!! there will always be new labels being made and created to help further
January 25, 2025 at 4:13 PM
it’s weird how many people care about this label just to immediately bash on it and call it disgusting 🤔 lesbianism is far more complex than most people even know. stop being scared of shit you don’t understand and just learn! your life will be so much more peaceful once you stop whining about how
January 25, 2025 at 4:11 PM
is one in the same. lesbian is intertwined with transmasculinity, which birthed butches and masc lesbians. you cannot separate the two ever. lesboy is basically a refurnished term for butch/masc lesbians that can also apply to numerous other people!
January 25, 2025 at 4:09 PM
3) lesboy is a term that can be used by, again,

- masc/butch lesbians
- he/him lesbians (pronouns ≠ gender)
- multigender (bigender, genderfluid) lesbians
- nonbinary, agender, genderqueer, xenogender lesbians

it’s different for everyone. gender is such a complex and diverse concept, not everyone

and if any exclusionists happen to scroll across this, i hope you take the time to read and educate yourself so you can learn something new! it should be the least of your worries to hate on and police other’s identities online. the history behind these labels are very real :-)!
January 25, 2025 at 3:55 PM
there are numerous sources out here to back the label and explain it to those who would like to learn. while the term/label lesboy is rather new—only being coined a few years ago— the history surrounding “male/masc lesbians” and butches is not :-)
January 25, 2025 at 3:53 PM
that people feel comfortable with, and this is one. just a huge misconception about the label D: people immediately want to hate on those who use it because they either don’t have the attention span to do a 1 minute google search, or are without the brain capacity to comprehend what it really means
January 25, 2025 at 3:49 PM
me calling myself a boy. it’s just what makes me happy and comfortable! im not a boy at all and id never be attracted to one.. butches have called themselves men/boys for years— they obviously don’t identify as one— and its just a means of reclaiming masculinity. it’s all about using terms or labels
