Yes, I've been fighting the good fight for democracy and against disinformation for many years now, but it's an increasingly thankless task. The problem is that I also use FB to communicate with old friends, and I would miss that a lot. :(

I hope you're right. After over 16 years (roughly) on Facebook, after posting a few pithy comments about freedom of speech, my account has been locked. I can't imagine which "community standards" I may have violated, or whether I'll be able to get back in again.

As a confirmed Bayesian, almost all of my beliefs - the things I 'know' - are conditional. The more supporting evidence I have, the less uncertain I am, and the stronger my belief. Pretty much the only things I know with absolute certainty are in the domains of mathematics and mathematical logic.
