YEAH! I love telegraphs so much. I use the same concept, but instead of actual telegraphs I'm using a cheaper version of the sending stones that instead of sending voiced messages send vibrations to its sibling. The other person uses morse code to decode the message!

I will. His character work really shines in this novel as he jumps around different perspectives (a Maine population). It reminds me a lot of the Dome, but with a layer of horror (the science fiction elements are minor as it mostly focuses on the loss of the self and how hive minds would work)
