I think one of my relatives made a variant of it maybe two years ago, so I'm going to say "yes, sometimes."

I would have made her a crossing guard instead of a meter maid. She'd have the same problem with getting a job that's humiliating and below her abilities, but she'd be providing a more positive service, which would help the audience feel more positive about her.

Eh, I like that Judy tired to start at the bottom instead of saying, "It may be my first day, but I'm the main character, so I demand you make some changes" like so many movie characters do in that situation.

As artists go, I am not the best at making sure the word balloon tail always points to the speaker's mouth.

I know ideas are free, but I keep seeing this kind of thing as content farming. If someone's short gets big, Disney owns it. And the idea guy just paid Disney for the joy of supplying them with lucrative concepts while the viewers just paid to be a test audience.
