Went out to work on a site this weekend with HAS. Didn't find anything exciting, but did find a bunch of stone flakes & fragments, which means lots of stone tool making happened nearby. Also found a toad.

I bought a new (to me) car this week! Traded in my Mini for a 2018 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk. I'm a Jeep Girl™ again! I'll miss my little Mini but I'm already in love with my Jeep! 🦆

Had the 2nd of 2 chalk art events this weekend. A little disappointed in my piece overall, but towards the end a journalist from the local paper stopped by and ya girl got a mention!

Had a chalk art event today! The wind was INSANE and so were my allergies but I powered through and finished in a lot less time than I expected! I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out too! Onward to event #2 next weekend! 💖 (I'll be streaming next weekend too at twitch.tv/leppely)

I haven't posted her here yet, but this is Yrsa, the newest member of the family! She was dumped (literally in the garbage) on Monday & a concerned garbage man rescued her. She made her way to us & we love her. 🧡 (Yrsa means "she-bear"!)🐻 She's about 2 yrs old & so stinkin' cute.

But I'm making French Butter cookies for the office tomorrow & they're not the prettiest, but it's the first time I've baked in a LONG time I'm so glad they're coming out good. 😭🤗

My baby boy had a vet appt yesterday & we just got X-ray results today. He's still pretty healthy thankfully! The vet just thinks he might have some bronchitis or allergies & he has dry eyes so I have to put goop in his eyes to help lube them up for the rest of his life. 😭

Been hitting up antique shops today, & this is my find of the day! It's a vintage hummingbird feeder (I think - shop owner didn't know & Google says it's a hummingbird feeder), & it glows under UV! Just a really unique piece.
