This article acts like just because there were some delays, the aircraft must be the worst in the world. It is still the most capable fighter in production, and it is far cheaper than it could be with all that it offers. There is pretty much no real analysis in the entire article, just opinion.

This is just a ridiculous article that makes a bunch of analysis on random quotes in a GAO report and ignores the actual numbers. The F-35 has nearly the same or lower procurement cost than all other U.S. fighter jets. And the F-35 is far more capable, possessing stealth and the most powerful radar.

Also aluminum cabling is lower resistance for a given mass. In HV lines the mass is a limiting factor, not really the conductor diameter, so aluminum results in lower losses.

Reliable technology that kills 40,000 people every year in the U.S.

Which is why we should try to maybe not burn every bit of it that we get our hands on.

This would be true for any rideshare or taxi network.

Gasoline is entirely non-recyclable, and has the nasty habit of warming our planet. Modern EV batteries use slim to no cobalt, and can also be recycled. Plus, it’s a ~300kg battery vs the ~30,000 kg of CO2 that a normal car leaves in the atmosphere.

Dems don’t have some omnipotent power against fascism. They tried, they told us about what could come, and people just didn’t think it was that serious. Do you really think that if dems said “Guys super serious don’t be fascist! >:(“ that would have saved the day?
January 17, 2025 at 7:57 PM
You are just wrong. No democratic leadership wants fascism, they would be the first to be hunted down! How do you know the winning strategy against fascism? How do you know your strategy would have worked better? Dems impeached Trump, how is that doing nothing?
January 17, 2025 at 7:53 PM
That to me makes no sense. Americans chose fascism because they were unhappy with dems not being as anti fascism as they could be? So they were against fascism but chose to vote for it? I don’t think any dems want fascism, but to act like you know the way to have ended fascism in the U.S. is silly.

The president isn’t a dictator, at least not yet. Americans democratically chose fascism, and Biden can’t just reverse that.
January 17, 2025 at 7:36 PM
Ridiculous to assume that those two small issues would have changed much. Biden had already accomplished a ton, already nominated a Supreme Court justice. Republicans were super popular and dems were too busy thinking that they didn’t do anything. People were not smart enough, Biden can’t fix that.

What’s a smaller number than 10,000 GMLRS missiles?
