Given how strong the blocking mechanisms on BSky are, banning people from the site is like saying "Not only do I not want to listen to this person, I don't think anyone else should be able to listen to them, either."

Also why does Bluesky only allow videos up to 60 seconds long? I know its expensive to host videos, but 60 seconds is too short for even sharing half of an average song, or saying anything important. make it at least 3 minutes. Another reason for longer videos: Bluesky shouldn't be like Tiktok :(

I get what you're saying. I just think it's important to draw a distinctinction between hate and differing worldviews. Blocking is fine either way :), but reporting should only be in response to personal attacks that stay hateful independent from the political direction they represent imo.
