I've read several times, "This isn't political" or "This is not a place for politics." To me political is when you and I disagree about tax policy. An existential, autocratic threat to all we hold dear is way beyond politics. We have to call it out and not "play nice" or bury our heads in the sand.

I keep hearing pundits saying that Trump is rewarding people for loyalty. He is not rewarding anyone. He is not a rewarder. He is purchasing insurance. He is purchasing future loyalty.
