They just interviewed their preferred GM candidates and all of them said they weren’t planning on retaining him is my guess

Do you think there’s a chance Brashard Smith gets more opportunities because of these kinds of plays?

What players do you think we get the most clarity on in the opening week? Guys that you think we could either feel comfortable starting or dropping depending on their week 1 usage. Javonte Williams feels like one to me.

With the big news dropping yesterday (Womack getting injured) do you think the team is in a position where they are now forced to sign a Gilmore/Douglas level starting corner for the season?

Really excited for this, hope you keep it up through the season. Obvious choices but Tyler Warren and Bortolini had a lot to dig into that game too.

Do you think they let AR and Jones use their legs much in the preseason to truly compete for the job or will they want to prioritize health?

This is true for ToC too

Do you add any weight for more recent seasons in your model to account for trends changing in the league or do you see yearly changes to run/pass splits or total play averages as mostly noise?

Broad question, what recent NFL trends do you see sticking around and what do you see being a fad or getting figured out? For example, is the move towards heavier OL just a cyclical response to smaller defenders or was smaller defenders just an experiment that is seeing its last days?

What stat line does Kwity Paye need to produce to get a new contract from the Colts?

What area do you think Steichen needs to improve the most this year to keep faith in the Steichen/Ballard regime?

What do you think an all offense or all defense draft could look like?
April 19, 2025 at 3:15 AM
Normally Ballard drafts with an eye towards development, but do you think he focuses more on players that can immediately contribute since his seat is finally hot and he needs to win this year?

That makes sense then, sounds less consequential than I thought it would be. Thanks for the explanation!

Unrelated suggestion, but have you considered adding age filters? Feels like a lot of the sub 5.0 guys are from pre-2000 and having a more modern pool of players could be more relevant at times
