I don’t really support piracy, but I agree with this take. As a younger/person student with no income pirating was often the only way I could access games (or try them out to see if they were good. Most weren’t worth buying). I would jump through all the annoying and super time-consuming hoops to…👇
To all the people saying not to pirate indie games, I quote a post by Hakita of ULTRAKILL fame, where he says that not having the means should not stop you from experiencing art, be it movies, music or videogames.
Is it better to support them? Yeah, but not everyone has the means to do so everytime

So the new Pantone color of 2025 is brown. With Trump in the White House, Russia still in Ukraine and the Middle East in shambles that tracks.

Briefly popped back onto “x” to tell Elon Musk he’s an idiot & wow, the funk of stupidity has reached epic levels. Like, as if aggressive ignorance had an odor. Was just seeping out of every post & oozing between every comment. 🤢 Less sense, more agro-insecure & smellier than a Jr High gym locker.

Guilty as charged.
Buying a book and actually reading it are two very different hobbies.

Hi. I’m new to blue sky & looking to connect. I'm in interested in #writing (Author of Game Quest, Zeus & the Giant Icea Tea + more), #gamedev & #art (trad or 3D.) I tend to post more quips & deep thoughts than process & progress, but I try! Say hi if any of that sounds interesting to you! #promosky

I think there should be a fake info item put into the front matter of any ghost written book kinda like how directors who don’t want to be associated with a movie use a fake name. Like right between the ISBN and Library of Congress number put “Font wrapped in Seratte Light.”
A lot of fiction ‘written’ by celebrities is actually ghost written, often with no acknowledgement of the real writer on the cover (or in interviews). A lot of authors are pissed off by this but don’t call it out because of potential ramifications. 1/2
