Writing something Hansry related. Think I was born to write dialogue from this period
“A mysterious man drinking by himself. What must he be thinking of?” His voice was much lower than Henry anticipated. It was a rich singing voice that glided towards him. “Only that it is well past the hour he promised himself for bed.” Henry replied, proud of himself for the speed. The corner of the young man’s mouth quirked upwards. Heaven forgive how Henry’s eyes dropped to his lips. They quickly shot back up. “Pray, stranger, won’t you tell me where you come from? Sit and share a drink with me.” A lean to the side. “I shant keep you from your promised bed long.” “Ah, I’d only bore someone such as you.” Henry smiled politely and shook his head. “Such as me?” A smile with teeth now. He leaned to the other side. “What flattery. But truly, it is you that is in danger of boredom, my lord.” Henry turned his head to look at him better. “I aint no lord.” He chuckled. Eyes flickering down and slowly back up. The distance between them closed just a fraction more. Henry could feel his tunic brush against his arm. “Would you like to be?”
