I get into internet arguments against my therapist's best wishes
All branches of government are owned by a single party. And yet the party of personal responsibility can't take it. It's fairly incredible. But you are likely just a bot.

Messaging has nothing to do with it. It's simply because the owner class wants Republicans to win and they happen to own everything.

My hot take is that all economic-political trade offs are profoundly moral.

You can't, our current crop of Lords are totally bankrupt spiritually. They will do anything and break any law in order to cause you to suffer. They can't and won't be stopped until nature brings them to heel. There is no system that can rehabilitate them.

Yeah. Rich people good. Poor people bad. Classic American policy making.
June 29, 2025 at 7:31 PM
Yeah but this is arbitrary based on policy not because there is some mystical taxation on that dividend at the time the original capital was acquired.
June 29, 2025 at 6:10 PM
This doesn't make sense. The dividends are new income.

The top hates the bottom, that is indeed the message they have given us I am glad you see it.

Hard agree on this point. Also most "trade offs" in the modern world boil down to "things cost more for a little bit" which is just greed as a barrier.
March 2, 2025 at 12:12 AM
So most barriers to stopping it comes to greed at the corporate level or the individual consumer. But they are both greed.
March 2, 2025 at 12:10 AM
I think we haven't really assessed the real trade offs other than "things cost more for a little bit" like I don't think we would have to get rid of say advanced petrochemical derivatives because it's possible to run a refinery as an end to end capped system. It's just expensive.

I guess it comes to the definition of evil. When the consequences of how we did things came to light in the super majors in the 70s they quickly moved to cover it up (evil) costing us precious time. Now it's a problem of distributed cost, which is just individual greed. (Evil)
March 2, 2025 at 12:06 AM
I said eradicate all evil. Not evil concentrated in a few. It's a cost problem now a cost problem for all of us. We could do it just no one wants to pay for it.
March 2, 2025 at 12:04 AM
Of course there are trade offs, but a lot of big problems could simply be solved if you could eradicate evil. Global warming, and world hunger come to mind. Given our current tech profile.

It took 30 years of propaganda and mass education defunding but they finally did it. A population dumb enough to destroy itself.

Thanks! Self rated effort of critical thinking based on trust. It's not, before AI and after AI critical thinking test. The study says that people who have more trust in AI rate their critical thinking effort lower. AND people who rely on AI for certain tasks do score lower. But, what comes first.

Did we know if these people had them in the first place?

White supremacy ideology. The targets are beside the point, but I have full faith they will turn on the Jews once they no longer fit their purpose.
