Oh, I agree, there definitely value in human work, but we can't compete with AI in terms of time, so yes, creativity and experience is our USP against AI, but value is subjective and very much in the eye of the beholder.

As someone whose job has been replaced by AI, I have strong feelings about this. Artists and designers also have strong opinions about AI, and I understand, yet their issue with it seems limited to their field. There will always be a market for human production, just not as big as it used to be.

Well, who is it that may have "conditioned it for failure"?
The lack of self-awareness is baffling.

I don't think I have seen Trump standing since the election. The orange guy is clearly very unwell.

Can we also talk about how they *didn't* dress him? (Joking aside, I love how wild they went with his costumes...)

They may not have a choice, if they are no longer allowed in their respective camps. I takes your point, but I have a stonking headache rn and can't think straight enough to give a fuller answer.
Have a nice rest of the day 🙂

For me it stems from the realisation by A & C that they stand with humanity (at the end of S1, Crowley says "next time it will be us (humanity) against then (heaven & hell)". I don't think it's much of a stretch to think they'd both relinquish their status to be happy together. Eternity is lonely...

Interesting choice of phrasing. Pure conjecture on my part, but could they both end up as mortals? I.e spending the rest of their lives together, but not eternity?

works well with the sexual aspect of cavort.
As evidence, I offer Carly Simon's lyrics in "you're so vain": "You had one eye in the mirror, as you watched yourself gavotte", often misheard as "cavort". How do I go about getting the OED to look into it or how can I build a stronger case?
February 2, 2025 at 3:41 PM
The OED gives "cavort" the following meaning: to jump or move around in a noisy, excited, and often sexual way.
T
So far it fits with the theory. The first recorded use of cavort is also late 18th c, so a lot later than the point at which gavotte was popular. The "kissing" aspect of the dance (2/3)
