Ye it needs to be games that you can put a shit ton of hours and people who are already into it or new players who want to get more into it

there's also another thing, mainly personal experience i could be wrong, but avoid furries, the furry community has no sense of loyalty or doesn't know how to have friends

you get an active group of friends by having a routine or an activity that you do everyday people wont hang with you everyday unless there's something to do together at first, i got my group by spending hours playing CSGO, nowadays we dont play together often but we still join VC, bc of routine

or you can just get to know them better by asking them questions, people like to talk abt themselves and what they like

just talk about anything that you like, and eventually a conversation starts up... or not , it's not easy but with time and practice you'll get there
