Weekends are for randomly messing around with art supplies. Just to see what happens when you add different colors, brush strokes, mediums, together. For making something simple but playing around to find complexity and joy 🥰

I tried a little mixed-media experimen last night. I sketched some adorable mushrooms in my sketchbook and colored them digitally. I’ve never worked this way before, but I really enjoyed it 🥰🍄

For this page I decided to get a little experimental with my acrylic markers but it didn't *quite* turn out how I hoped. It was super fun playing around and trying new things though 😁

Meet Artemis, or well, an Artemis-inspired portrait! I'm not even exaggerating when I say that I was SO SCARED to paint this. I'm always saying that I want to feel more comfortable with traditional media, but when push comes to shove, I get so scared I'll mess it up, I often chicken out.
