Seeing them play with the sheep was really cute, I wish we could've seen them explore more of the island though~ 🥺
There's an option to reply to the two characters traveling so far from home: -And you two opted to journey together? -Where's our "little sun"? referring to Magnai, another character from Stormblood, one with whom Sadu constantly butts heads with. I picked the latter cause I thought it would be funny lol Cirina replies: "Ah, if you wish to see him, you should find him at the Dawn Throne, as ever. I regret to say that I may have neglected to invite him..." Sadu quips: "She much prefers my company to that of the preening fool." My Warrior of Light talking to Cirina, Sadu, and Tataru about the island as they play with the sheep.

My Final Fantasy XIV character on their island sanctuary's beach, staring out in surprise at familiar visitors just off screen. Tataru has brought Sadu and Cirina, two characters from the Stormblood expansion to visit our island. She raises her hands in the air in typical Lalafell aplomb saying "Thanks for coming out to meet us!" Cirina remarks: "It is good to see you well, Palisade. Please forgive us for coming uninvited." Sadu remarks: "You claim dominion over tiny ironmen, they say. That, at least, is befitting of a khagan." For context this is referencing events in Stormblood in which the Warrior of Light wins a competition to crown a new Khagan to rule over the Azim Steppe. She jokingly refers to our helpful automatons as "ironmen" a word used to describe the armored Garlean soldiers who attacked shortly after the competition was over (who were subsequently defeated as well.)

Hyper-fixating on the Blue Cloth Cowl because why is it lowkey the same type o hair thingy I draw Leo in all the time LOL

like even down to the little striped end bits with the tassels, and the metal adornments. I've never given Elden Ring enough of a look to ever register this item before.
The Blue Cloth Cowl from Elden Ring, a blue headscarf with metal adornments is wrapped around almost bandage-like cloth head covering. White fur (or hair) adorns the top of it.

DT as a whole has dealt heavily with the themes of death, and remembrance, but like...fwir, and my memory of certain things hasn't been the best, these themes weren't suuuper present in the first two allied society's questlines.

I'm glad they managed to implement that theme here.

A reference sheet for my fursona, Cage the spotted hyena featuring a front view, back view, a view of his head from different angles, and some personal belongings I feel a piece featuring him can't go without. Text reads as follows from top to bottom left to right: CAGE ハイエナ (ha-i-e-na, hyena written in katakana) Spotted Hyena Age: Mid 20's He/Him Height: 6'3" Weight: 265 lbs Freeform Locs: Cage has freeform locs specifically "congo" locs. This happens when several locs combine while growing, forming one big loc. (I use the word loc here instead of dreadlock as the "dread" part of the word doesn't sit right with me) Moving on to notes about his full-body appearance -two locs through one bead here -more poking through his hat at the top the head turn views have the hair at a lower opacity so his face spots are visible along with the way certain locs fold or combine. Belongings: Beanie: -disintegrated from bleach damage -has a charm consisting of 4-5 beads hanging across it at an angle. Wooden Beads: -patterns can be random (to allow some artist agency and collaboration; I often leave small patterns up to the artist cause I want them to have fun drawing certain items) -dark wood; light trim -the larger one holds two locs Ripped Old Shirt: -has two holes near the neckline

I made a new Reaper outfit bc I forgot about this lil easter-egg they add in I guess if you either have Reaper or are playing as one, where the Pumpkin-Headed Apparition comments about your pact with a voidsent. I wonder if she wears the pumpkin to hide a Garlean third eye. Just a thought~

Speaking to the main event NPC, the Pumpkin-headed apparition, she has several dialogue options. When asking what it is she does exactly she responds: "I watch. My ancestors once bound the voidsent to their will as a means to wage war, and caused irreparable harm to the world in so doing." My FFXIV character in a new Reaper outfit, taking part in the All Saint's Wake Halloween Event. Speaking to the main event NPC, the Pumpkin-headed apparition, she has several dialogue options. After asking her what it is she does exactly, she quips: "...I sense you too have formed a pact with a creature of the void. Be very careful, child. Let your guard down for a single moment, and the servant shall become the master." This line of dialogue relates to the Reaper Job and it's lore, where you make a pact with a voidsent, (a being from an alternate world engulfed in darkness) and summon it in battle.

I decided to sit up last night and do the All Saint's Wake event while I still had some energy, and aaaaa! There's so much I wanna talk about, It was pretty ok! I love how they've decorated Haukke Manor, I'm surprised that place hasn't been condemned yet 😂
