I'm starting a new project with my 2nd year high school students at Marista Ir. Acácio and this new project is going to use an API service to currency convert. The main idea is teatch them to create a small project whose complexity level is moderate to advanced, which involves some knowledges.

Some idea of web project. In this case, the goal is develop a currency converter with USD, EUR and BRL coins with HTML5, CSS3 and pure Javascript. Next step is to use API for real-time quotes.

Now, I'm starting a new development project. A simple user registration system. I'm using this project to teach my high school students coding using the MVC pattern and I'm going to use it to teach database concepts to my undergraduate students.

Today I'm working with my students the Software architecture pattern. I'm trying to teach them with some analogies, for example, civil construction. They need to understand the role of the software architect and to achieve that goal, they reflect on building a house.
