poem No Straight Thing by Leona Medlin: So where's the point or points of trying? Ruling a line to take that doesn't cross the grain is easier thought than drawn. Making a way that's both humane and true is as likely as angels in Peckham Rye. Still... we see what we will. Imagine being it. The more we make believe, the more we make it so; turn, bend, twist and curl from point to point -- all awkward angles, but moving.
