That's an amazing point. Sorry, I didn't get it the first time. However, you are right! Several pieces of evidence point in this direction. Nutritional deprivation is highly correlated with late metabolic impairment and impairs several aspects related to cognitive development. It's sad!😔

Maybe it's better to read the paper 🫣. We are talking about a special condition of exposing immature mice to chronic intermittent fasting. To make a long story short: We should consider the maturational aspects before imposing IF on everyone and everything. Proper nutritional flux is fundamental!
