Nice presents/rewards -- just for getting those Flu & Covid shots! It was a shoulder-to-shoulder affair -- one side (i.e. shoulder) got the covid shot and the other side got the flu thingee!

Walking all the way downtown is no big deal -- I do it all the time, taking the bus home. Today was different -- not only did I walk downtown but I walked all the way back home as well. Not bad!

Anyone walking down Belmont Ave knows the Gallery Bookstore. They're now closing unfortunately & are giving away their inventory. Books lay in shelves outside their store & there was quite a crowd going thru titles (see 2nd photo). Oh well. I picked up the volumes on the left (mostly U.S. history):

Really really nice New Year's Eve performance by Corky Siegel, Ernie Watts and The Sons of the Never Wrong; took place at the Music Institute in Evanston! Started at 8p and lasted till -- you can imagine when :-)
