I've always wanted to play vampire the masquerade! Looks so cool and adult-y. Never could find a group for it. 😩

This is sometimes the only way I get into a proper flow!

Hey there! I've taken a back seat (after only doing a few critiques), but I really like what you're doing over there with them critters. I was lucky enough to find some in person folks and I thought that would help me because I'm SO new to everything. It's a bit overwhelming.

Thanks for all you do!

Hey! I'm working on my first epic Fantasy novel set in our contemporary world, but I've written a handful of thriller/horror short stories now and I have an idea for something in that vein as well.

My wife and I have had an idea for a children's book for many years. How different of a process is it to try to get it published? Do you do manuscript with no illustrations at all? Do you put all of the prose on one page like a poem? So many questions.

I wrote about 300 words of an important intro scene where my MC is going to be told about the secret world she's unwittingly a part of.

But then I audibled and started together a "zero draft" to put to paper the whole story in my head in some form. I'm learning so much!

Awwww yeeaa! After the experience I've had, I think I'll be signing up for all of the future battles as well!

I've been trying Scrivener and find it really motivating with the Project Targets and the organization for worldbuilding and stuff. The compiling is tricky, I did it as a test...bit of a learning curve.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I spent one like 2 months on the outline and have started writing before it's really fully fleshed out, but will have more to think about by the time I get half way through the book. 😵
