When I first heard that Jacob Elordi was going to play the Creature in Guillermo del Toro's 'Frankenstein', I had a hard time seeing him in that role. I don't know why. Maybe because he's such a good looking guy? Anyway, after seeing the movie I'm completely blown away by his performance. 1/2

Good news is that I'm next month finally having surgery to remove the tooth that's growing into my jaw bone. The bad news is that even after it's out, I might never regain sensation in the parts of my face where I've lost feeling :/

The manuscript for my second crime novel is now at 209 pages and I only have 2-3 chapters left to write before it's done. But I'm going to have to take a temporary break from writing because I have way too much to do at work and in my studies and I need to save up my mental energy 😓

A question that has been bugging me all day is why so many medical professionals are so inclined to assume patients are liars or hypochondriacs? Why did it have to take almost a month before I found a doctor who took me seriously when I said I'd lost sensation in parts of my face? 1/2

If I got a dollar for every time I've gone to the doctor and been treated like a hypochondriac, only for it to turn out that I had a problem that required surgery then I don't know how many dollars that would be because I've lost count of how many times that has happened. #EDS #Ehlers-Danlos 1/2

It might amuse you to know US MAGA Christians aren't the only ones who long to be The Most Oppressed of All. An Orthodox Christian in my city once reported a pizzeria for hate speech because they had a pizza named "Cheesus Christ". Authorities concluded it was, in fact, not hate speech.

It might amuse you to know US MAGA Christians aren't the only ones who long to be The Most Oppressed of All. An Orthodox Christian in my city once reported a pizzeria for hate speech because they had a pizza named "Cheesus Christ". Authorities concluded it was, in fact, not hate speech.
