A three-man band KAJ from Finland,its Swedish-speaking region Österbotten, will represent Sweden this year's Eurovision Song Contest with their sauna-song Bara bada bastu (Just take sauna). It's really catchy and makes you smile in this crazy world. youtu.be/QIvtyzCYJDg?...

An overseas colleague, who I never knew or had heard of never before, has died. Very interesting to find out that @npr.org has (or had) a research library. We still do at Finnish Broadcasting Company but right now facing cut down of personnel and other costs as everywhere inside the company.
Kee Malesky, NPR's research librarian for more than 20 years, has died at age 74. She left NPR in 2014. She's remembered for her love of facts, and here's another irrefutable one: She will be missed.

Free speech -but only when it suits our values. I know it's maga and Project 2025's agenda in USA, but where on earth do they have time to harrass a Finnish university - even if there are AI tools to harvest "dangerous" words?
