I think the world might be a little bit better if other presidents took a step back, listened more than they talked, and approached conflict with curiosity instead of judgement

As the president, I take notes, I listen to people and I ask questions. I create polls and mind maps and email people (it’s a lot of emails). My role as president is to support the people in my group, and make sure everyone gets what they need, and most people get what they want.

Everything is expensive and part of the conversation is always how we can make things accessible. How can we show up for those who have the least. We talked about politics, and how we are staying hopeful without disconnecting from the world. Every single one of us has US friends we worry for.

We are planning a pride week to have at school, community events, fundraising, and book club. We are checking on each other and building relationships I think will last. We get to feel scared and angry and hopeful, and know the others feela the the same. To be seen is to be loved
