I transitioned 20 years into my career and since my coworkers were supportive after 5 years at that job, I assumed I’d be okay.
I’ve always found work weeks after leaving a previous job. After being laid off, 9 months later, I’m still looking. People are now actively so cruel as I do.
This is hell.
