But anywhere I have lived a disconnected trailer is forbidden on street parking. Connected to a tow is allowed as are motor homes but not stand alone trailers.

I am in a city’s limits so their public works department should be the appropriate agency. I still have to get over to that section one day soon and see if it is still raised.
