I started with "The Ocean at the End of the Lane"
I really liked it. Not much more to say.
Then I read "Neverwhere" &

I knew Hemingway had killed himself, knew he had mental illness and substance abuse problems. What I didn't know was he kept saying the FBI were bugging/following him, no one believed him, the paranoia mounted, he died, and AFTER he died the J Edgar Hoover files revealed Heningway had been right.

My big brother colleague might have a flat for me 👀
It's juuuuust beneath my price threshold but great and big and I'd have him as landlord which would be very nice.
Still some weeks until flat is free and viewable but sounds really good concerning location, balcony, size... 💪🏼

So I took 16 (!) different items of clothing at the office clothes swap while 'only' giving 8 😅
Luckily we had sooooo many clothes it really doesn't matter 💪🏼
And those not having been taken we delivered to a charity shop afterwards.
Guess we'll do that once a year now, was a lot of fun

Friend said it's about his 'big ego' & I completely get that & think it's true.
I never had a partner like that.
Men I'm fancying in RL rarely show that trait!
Now I'm hung up on 'I need a guy like that!' & boy, it feels impossible 😓

Christmas was better than expected but 'Christmas' was just a few hours.
Everything around Christmas is seriously bringing me down and has been for a week or so.
I'm spiralling.
Just hope I can turn it around for the days off this week.
