After an 80 min delay in today’s F1 race we start behind the safety car. What’s the point of waiting if the safety car was going to be used anyway 🤷‍♂️

Each full wet tyre in #F1 can clear around 80lts of water a second. Let the cars run behind the safety car with full wets for 4-5 laps then switch them to inters and let them race.

Watching coverage of #EuropaLeaguefinal on #tntsport and have to say the half-time analysis was rubbish. To be fair they didn’t really have time once the adverts were done.

Why have the #bbc set themselves up by the loud music at the start of the #londonmarathon It makes it hard to hear what the people being interviewed are saying.

Having watched the news coming from the US since the inauguration of DJT I have come to the conclusion that the J in his name can only stand for Jackass.

Hi all. I’m thinking about signing up to IPSE. Has anyone got a membership? Is it worth the cost? Cheers.

Final Friday #poem. In January I set myself the challenge of publishing a poem a week on social media. I’m happy to report that I did. 😁 Enjoy!

Two beautiful words to start the week from the wonderful @susiedent.com
Word of the morning is ‘williwaw’ (19th century): a sudden violent squall or a toppling gust of wind.

Goes well with ‘thunderplump’: a sudden downpour that soaks you to the skin in seconds.

Why do car manufacturers make it sooooooo hard to change a bulb?!! It took me ages to change a side light because it was so bloody awkward to reach.

Man flu has arrived. I just want you all to know I shall be bravely working through it. 😂😂 Note to self, when your daughter generously shares her cold with you do not then go and get a flu and covid jab.

Perhaps a tad early? The Friday #poem is here! Enjoy!

I’d be surprised if this has not been done before. But if it hasn’t. Well played Brewdog.

You know how sometimes it’s good to have a browse around the local supermarket to see what’s new? Well this morning I found this. And I don’t really know what to think. Obviously I bought one 😁

By popular demand (not really) my weekly #poem has moved from there to here. Enjoy!

I hope those of you working from home today don’t develop a case of the gwenders. Stay warm.
Word of the Day is ‘gwenders’, from old Cornish dialect: a disagreeable tingling in the extremities (or no sensation at all) due to extreme cold.
