I dream of catching an octopus, but it eludes me. In my first game, I’m almost done with Year 5. No octo yet and struggling to get all the golden walnuts on Ginger Island. So I started Game 2 for fun.

I did half of the gift quests before joining Joja. After joining, you still get access to the 4 big fix-ups (bus, greenhouse etc) but for money only. Joja bonus: you can buy a livestock auto-petter! I like that. Not sure what else is different; but I usually check online forums for more tips.

I caved and joined Jojamart for my new playthrough. I feel so guilty! Still working on beta reads and my handmade journals though.
