I work at a test center at a college. Parents call & ask for test scores. Without a signed release from the student we cannot release anything except to the student themself. Parents get really rankled, and try to play the, "I'm paying the bill," card. Sorry - it's still their private record.

I had a pulmonary flash edema when I was in the hospital for what turned out to be kidney failure (they thought it was double pneumonia at the time). Now every time I cough, my husband has a flashback. Trauma affected us both.

In the Jewish faith, Judaism is passed from the mother to the child. My sister converted so her children would be born Jewish, even though her husband is also Jewish.

Our senior cat sleeps on his cube by the bed. When he gets chilly, he curls up in the crook of my or my husband's arm. I love bedtime rituals.

I have a journal with all my stats, and updates and other things (appts, flu shot dates, etc). My nephrologist loves it.
