Havent and dont have time but heres an update anyway (im procrastinating)
He shed, sometime when we were gone bc we saw shed in hide on monday; i fed tues. and we gunna feed again maybe sun. bc those rats are SMALL but he had a poo a lil bigger than his balled up shed also in that hide

So we’re going out of state for 2 days and since hes in shed i watered a bit more than i usually do, getting pretty much everywhere, turning off my room fan and mostly closing the door to try keeping humidity n such in best as possible, hope he does well 🤎

Welp a lil silly happened today 🥲
Took Lemmie out of his hide, he was in a ball, made a small hiss, was told dont let that stop me (hiss ≠ no handling), then when i picked him up his eyes were foggy so ik that means shedding soon, dont handle. But then i smell burning and get concerned (1/2-3?)

So we sprayed the back with pond foam stuff and stuck in plants and wood/clutter(?) (1st pic) then i shaved it down (2nd pic) and we have a “rock” thing to put our water pump in for a mini waterfall somewhere (3-4th)

Much more successful feeding with Lemon Pepper last night, this mouse seemed a little bigger than last time and it went down head first instead of being folded in half like last time

Also; i am currently boiling oak sawdust/wood chips my dad saved from a project- gotta get the bugs and bad stuff out before using in substrate for the enclosure and plants (also for enclosure)

First coat of sealant on these cool #sticks we’re gunna put into the enclosure for lemon pepper- they gotta dry for a day and then we put silicone or glue into the cracks then another sealant layer

Anyway last night was my baby's first time eating with us (and we got them like a few days ago so that's GREAT) took a little while for it to get adjusted but ended off pretty quick (horrible wording T_T)

They're (we think) a 'Banana Scream' Ball Python and is still a baby, roughly 6 months old, meaning we dont know this silly noodle's gender (so I'll use they/it pronouns for it and eventually name when I decide on one)
