You cant just say nuh uh and wave off the insane things some of those leaders did. Look at all the failed communist countries. All of them ended up with pussy leaders and then economically collapsed or changed to democracy and became socialist.

It's the same way you become the leader of a communist country. Ruthlessness is needed to keep people working. The communist leaders who don't make their people live in fear fail. Every time.

The people feared Lenin. They feared Stalin. They feared Mao. And they fear the CCP.

I don't think greed is only a fault of capitalism. Look at how many dictators run communist and socialist countries. It's basic human nature to be greedy.

We can both agree that greed should be punished and shuned in society.

Before Reagan, the richest people were taxed heavily and for tax reasons they had motivation to give their money to the workers. Reagan ruined that and here we are. Before the great depression life sucked for workers. The taxation on the rich got us out of the depression and forced the rich to pay

I would disagree. Look at countries in Northern Europe. They don't have massive populations or endless farmland, but they have the happiest people on the planet.

On the other end is India.

America and China are so powerful because our economies are more socialist than the rest of the world. The US does need to raise taxes on the rich and punish them if they don't pay. Reaganomics killed that same system and now we're here. Same way the CCP is actively hurting china

Capitalism isn't perfect, but with decent leadership it can work. Pure capitalism, pure socialism, and pure communism can't work because of greed and different peoples needs.

Both need a little socialism to work.
December 5, 2025 at 6:34 PM
Real shit though

We aren't getting anywhere arguing

Real conversation

Why do you think communism could work?

Are my numbers wrong
December 5, 2025 at 6:01 PM
8,500 is bigger than 1,000,000?
December 5, 2025 at 6:00 PM
Pull up some numbers and join the debate bro
December 5, 2025 at 5:52 PM
How long did they last after that?
December 5, 2025 at 5:51 PM
I won
December 5, 2025 at 5:50 PM
Wow dude
3 revolutions
2 wars of independence
4 civil wars
2 crushed uprisings

The Spain and Taiwan ones were committed by communists

Nobody died due to Alien and Sedition

Stalin executed a million people

China executed 700,000 in the early 50s

Find a better stat
December 5, 2025 at 5:48 PM
How did that great leap forward work out?

Capitalism isn't perfect, but we never had to build a wall to keep our people in.

How many capitalist "Great Purges" were there
December 5, 2025 at 5:23 PM
The Russian people during WW1 were living like peasants under a king and queen and then went through a devastating famine and revolution. Any stable government would make life better.

China was split apart and ravaged by WW2

All the other communist countries failed.

There's 7.4 million people waiting for some form of healthcare right now according to the British NHS and its getting worse.

Also, do you trust the American government with your Healthcare?
December 5, 2025 at 5:14 PM
How is communism better when it does worse shit
December 5, 2025 at 4:59 PM
Look at Britain. Same tech, doctors, and hospitals as the US. And they struggle with long wait times between scheduled appointments and surgeries.

Lowering prices at the expense of better healthcare isn't a good thing. Both systems need improvement but they can both work.
December 5, 2025 at 4:41 PM
The CCP is actively genociding Turkish Muslims

Stalin had his fair share of purges as well
December 5, 2025 at 4:19 PM
You can raise min wage to match inflation, but anything past that doesn't solve the problem. Inflation and taxes will bring it all right back and we'll be stuck in the same situation. If min wage is high, why work with a Union that asks for more money if someone is willing to work for less.
