I think with what happened with the offspring and Brett’s addiction I don’t think Brett was ever warm to journalist also I had asked for a picture after the show

Everything is about context. I had seen Brett after a show in London. He knew I was a journalist and was not super warm but his demeanor changed when I told him I was a fan first and traveled from Paris for show and seeing him was a dream come true. He was really sweet.
