Isn't the main gerrymandering problem that there are many more red governors willing to tamper with electoral maps than blue/purple able to counter play - so Reds have escalation dominance if you start down that road?

Disinflation being a reduction on the rate of inflation, right? So a relative reduction in consumer goods pricing compared to wages would still be disinflationary, even if all boats are inflating
