I have never seen a speech bubble cross a panel like that. Thank you for pushing the envelope.

MY constant anxiety, but now in fox form.

I was not expecting to have my mind blown. The coloring on that graphic novel is astounding.

LA Dems putting down their solar panels like Noem puts down dogs.

NOEM: I deported more illegals than anyone else in US history.

RUBIO: You've also killed more dogs than any politician in US history.

VANCE: I'm from Ohio.

Is this entirely drawn on digital/tablet? Or is it mixed media?

Does the DoD really not see an opening for Russia/China to arm Venezuela, like we did in Ukraine?

Great idea.

Supplementary idea: non-political consumer practices of voters.

The Trump campaign famously targeted Dodge Ram owners on Facebook in 2016. The intersection of culture, consumerism, and politics is essential to predictive polling.

Good stuff, but there's a typo on panel 1. Should be 2017, not 2007.

Historic inflation = campaign loss. That's the whole analysis. Now pay me $20 million.

All of these deep analysis are piggybacking off the supposed culture war loss associated with the 2024 election, but that's a mirage.

Dems are getting earned media right now on the government shutdown. A a good narrative overcomes those barriers, and has further penetration into the media ecosystem that will reach the average voter.

I refuse to doom.
October 28, 2025 at 2:38 PM
The problem isn't comms in the traditional sense. Dem politicians need to platform their ideas in new environments (lawsuits, operations, etc.) so that the ideas exist within an exciting, win-lose narrative, leading to earned media. The *idea* matters less than the *story* it plays in.

Peter Kuper is lowkey one of the best non-fiction comic artists working today. He gets overshadowed by Joe Sacco, but *hot take* Kuper's artwork is better.

Have you considered that the libs are getting owned? That cringe wokeness is defeated? That you no longer have to listen to Kamala Harris' demonic laugh?
October 28, 2025 at 1:49 PM
How to stop thinking like a strategist, step 1: stop chasing polls. Step 2: have a vision that can shape public opinion/polls. The latter is upstream of where Dems need to be.

It's good advice before someone falls into the incel mindset, but young boys really love having something to lash out against. Conflict gives them meaning, and in the case of incels, it exacerbates antisocial behavior. In fact, the more outiside-the-mainstream they are, the more righteous they feel
