One thing I’m worried about is… do they think Beyond + Standard is going to keep a playerbase? What happens when the FF and Spidey sets rotate out, do we just lose all of those players? Do new players even try standard? No commander decks with Spidey is wild…

my opinion is that people need to stop espousing opinions as fact first. starting that sentence with “for me” makes it seem a lot less like you’re making an objective, arguable point of fact.

i grew up on little game forums (pvp clans in republic commando, hangout servers in jedi knight 2). reddit was a natural progression, but it lost a little bit of the magic. theres a brief moment in a new social media site that recreates it sometimes and it feels like breathing again.
