Local Siamese complains that she’s not getting enough attention on #Caturday ; attempts petting human as last resort.
Lynx point Siamese cat reaches a paw under the arm rest of an outdoor chair trying to pet herself on human’s leg. Siamese cat fully extends paw to pet her human to show the human how it’s done. Siamese cat rests both of her front paws on the chair while she considers whether or not her human is actually paying attention to the petting lesson. I finished “I’ll Have What He’s Having” by @adibkhorram.bsky.social today, and really loved it! This book will make you hungry while questioning all the wine you are cellaring. Strongly recommend for people who show care by cooking, have awkward relationships with their family, and love the muppets.

“Sword Crossed” by Freya Marske finally came up from my library holds, and it didn’t disappoint! The world building is exquisite and the romance is smoldering. Brilliant concept, well written, and I strongly recommend!

A friend recommended “The Prospects” by K.T. Hoffman, and I have to say that it lived up to the hype. Even contemporary baseball romances have a nostalgic vibe, and this book moves at the slow (burn) but steady pace of a baseball game. MCs are real and you can’t help falling in love with them.

Just wanted to let you all know that I read this book “Make Room for Love” by Darcy Liao over the weekend and really enjoyed it! Great characters, nice story arc, I recommend!
