Should have been a Pioneer
@lejp.bsky.social
Frustrated Dem living in a rural "red" area. I knit, crochet, spin, quilt, watch old westerns, adopt feral cats. Fed up with all the turmoil.
Wow ! We even get an M & M for that 3 $ !

Thank you for your support, we are trying. I still believe it would have been so much easier to fight the Indians while crossing the plains than to deal with the mess happening today. Always wonder what our ancestors would be thinking now.

Only 12 more squares to do - maybe by end of 2026 will have a new blankie. My speed is no comparison to yours......

But - - How much power (and other things) did it take to make it superwash to begin with ??
November 21, 2025 at 3:59 PM
So it takes less electricity (and our time) to dry the superwash....good to know ! Interesting comparison.

Feel for him - remember hrs spent in classes to learn proper way to handwrite "cursive". (am considered elderly) Now have real trouble reading what young ones write...."what does that say??""

Indeed you do make us smile, I look for your posts every am first thing. Came to BSky to help "forget" all that is going on, focus on good things. You do that, plus show us new projects for us to put on our to do lists. Am now working on squares for a day out blanket. Keep up the good work.

Nice to see someone else uses "sticky notes" to remember what row they are on !
October 14, 2025 at 2:47 PM
I found that if you mark the post (those dots in lower right) as to block this account, has worked for now, gotta do it on each of those acct names. A few have tried to sneak back with different accts. but I just "block" them again......Takes a little while for that to work

Oh, so pretty....haven't tried color work flat, is it really hard to do the reverse side ? Just practice more ?
September 20, 2025 at 3:39 PM
So....How many hrs are in your day? Mine only has 24 and it takes several days to complete your morning chores.
September 10, 2025 at 3:48 PM
Sure is ! Always wanted to spin some of this but waaaaay to expensive. Would cost a bloody fortune even to go to Alaska to harvest your own.
