“Taking shape”? It’s far more grammatically correct to use the past tense. “Has taken shape”. It was “Taking shape” back when SCOTUS ruled for Citizens United. The correct present tense form would be to say “The oligarchy has arrived”.

Canada is a sovereign nation. Trump is basically saying he will invade a NATO country. And if he did invade, and Canada surrendered, it would be made another colony. Just like Puerto Rico and have no rights, just like Puerto Rico.

No matter what kind of deal they think they might get from Trump, the UK better be prepared for Trump to screw them over. Any deal from Trump only benefits Trump. The UK is better off negotiating with the EU.

We’re Americans living in Portugal. Portugal isn’t offering the vaccine and when we asked for it in the US, insurance wouldn’t cover it and the cost was $500.
