Even Trump is pissed off with Israel:

Just closed my #Spotify account. The main reason is that they now show me "promoted music", despite the fact that I pay for an account.

But the fact that they insist on communicating with me in German, because I live in Switzerland, is another reason.

Solidarity with baggage handlers from Alternativa Sindical de Clase demonstrating at Madrid airport today.

It's always great to unexpectedly stumble on union action.

I wîl never give this newspaper a penny. This nonsense, @theguardian.com, is what lead me to take out an @financialtimes.com subscription: if I am going to pay for news, I want something trustworthy, not liberal culture wars propaganda.

Good night Ahmedabad.

We had a very productive social dialogue meeting on the shipbreaking industry in Bangladesh today: employers, government, local unions, IndustriALL Global Union, and the Dutch union FNV who provide safety training.

I had a fascinating day exploring the shipbreaking yards in Chattogram, Bangladesh.

I'm reading a 70 year old Penguin paperback that I picked up in a secondhand book store.

In an age of ephemeral entertainment and repetitive rubbish on the streaming services, I find it very satisfying how old paperbacks retain their value. It feels like a small anti-market gesture.

Apparently I can save money if I buy secondhand nappies.

Isn't capitalism amazing?

I don't know who Margaret Sullivan is, and I'm not going to waste a click to find out, but she's clearly the US version of Polly "everything will be all right if you vote Labour" Toynbee.

Imagine writing this kind of nonsense with a straight face.

Facilitating genocide is not "decent".

I travel a lot, & one of the things that frustrates me is how random & arbitrary airline security rules are.

Here are Swiss army knives for sale airside at Geneva airport. I could buy 20 & distribute them to passengers.

But try flying *into* Geneva with a knife in your bag, and it will get taken.

Really inspiring to see South Korean workers strike to defend democracy and demand the resignation of YOON Suk Yeol after he declared martial law.

These are shipbuilding workers at Hyundai Heavy Industries who are members of the Korean Metalworkers' Union.

I'm tired. I've been travelling for work. Two weeks on the road. 4 countries, 7 flights, 6 hotels, 1 missed connection, 18 days without a day off.

It's good to be home.

Biden already razed Gaza. The weapons he supplied have killed 43,000 people, including 17,000 children.

Just last week, the US vetoed another ceasefire.

We will never forgive or forget.

This is intimidatingly long but surprisingly readable.

I read this earlier, and noted that The Guardian had included checking for Israeli passports as examples of "singling out Jews".
