My other half and I have become amateur birders over the past five years. He’s traveling for work and, I must say, I’m quite envious of some of the birds he encounters on his travels. Yesterday he had these amazing Azure-winged Magpies flying around him in Shanghai. 📷 by @uskiwi13.bsky.social

Texas is heavily gerrymandered (like many so-called "red" states). Texas cast over 4.8 million votes for Kamala in November. It would be helpful for everyone to remember that all 50 states are different shades of purple - none of them are red or blue. Signed, a blue dot in South Carolina

I mourn for our country. I mourn for the 17 million Americans who just lost their healthcare, the 18 million children who just lost school lunches, and the 3.5 million struggling Americans that just lost food assistance. I mourn for the immigrants who came here dreaming of a better life.
