Just a snippet of the hour-long Day of the Dead parade in Oaxaca last night.

In Oaxaca for Day of the Dead.

Very hard to describe just how incredible the vibe is. Every corner you turn there's a band and a load of people blocking the road, dancing.

Children and adults alike dressed up and in make up.

Incredible.

He was just playing but I could really do without having "Mexican dog bite" added to the anecdote repertoire.

Here's how the Pacific is looking this morning.

(Moments later I was bitten by a dog)

There's no hyperbole when I say going to Arena Mexico tonigbt to watch lucha libre was bucket list stuff for me.

Bonus to see Hechicero (even though for some weird reason he was performing in Wolverhampton just six days ago).

Just absolutely loving it all.

If you are into Modernism and anti-colonial art, get yourself to Mexico.

This one did fine dining upstairs and is in the Michelin guide, and has a taco bar downstairs 🤤

Here I am after 24 hours if travelling to get to Mexico City going straight out to get some tacos.

In Charles de Gaulle Airport a week before Halloween, and in the French dedication to absolutely-not-doing-that-yank-shit they've got their Christmas trees up.

Even more miraculously, Shakin Stevens' Merry Christmas Everyone is playing.

Thinking about the fact Wrexham fans couldn't go to the Netherlands this summer to see the team playing "per instructions from local authorities".

This sort of thing isn't common, but it's not unusual.

If you use other people's copyrighted material in a new musical work (eg using lyrics previously published), you need to get permission from the copyright holder to use it.

Reznor said he approved the use in a 2000 NME interview.

Woke up thinking of what TV was like when I was a kid and it was all the same faces on different shows despite their qualifications eg Michael Winner and Linda Lusardi etc.

Feels like everyone we saw spent half their lifetime at big lunches.

It was like an endless One Show but nobody was plugging.

It's Friday. I'm practically not working for a month after today. I got a huge tax rebate paid into my account this afternoon. I got some potentially exciting news for an idea I've had. And to top it all off... Chippy tea.

I love the Mad Max films which is probably why this 20 year period of his career is so truly insane.
