It’s not the charity work, I don’t think. I’ve lost friendships in the last several years: because of trump, because of genocide, etc etc. I don’t support businesses that support the causes I fight against. BUT. I choose to make my views public(ish). I can’t demand that of everyone.

I agree: but I guess I come at it from the point of, when we buy an album, we’re actually supporting an entire conglomerate that then pays that artist, and I’m pretty sure I don’t agree with fuck all of anything that conglomerate thinks. 😂

This is his 3rd record. There’s tons on the line. If this doesn’t HIT, this company won’t back a 4th with any kind of investment. As a 30+ post boy band member, of a boy band where one has become a mega star and the other is on his way, there’s not much room.
